High Speed Rail Lines – going 300 mph in comfort.
For a lot of us, some cities are too close to fly to and kind of a haul to drive to. It would be nice if there was an alternative. Perhaps something with an infrastructure already in place…. Nope, can’t think of what it might be.
Adding high speed rail to in the US seems to create a lot of problems. From upgrading rail lines to competition from airlines, auto makers and oil companies, there seem to be endless obstacles to every plan even though a lot of people like the idea.
If you have ever wondered what it would be like, you can find out here. The BBC released footage of a new high speed train in Japan. Not only does it levitate, but the 27 mile trip makes a nicer commute than getting on the freeway in traffic!
