No matter how big a rush you are in for your binders and folders, UPS still needs to be able to get your materials to you. Sometimes the weather isn’t your friend.
United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) says shipments might be delayed as a result of snowy weather in Louisville.
An alert on UPS.com says severe weather has caused significant disruptions at its WorldPort shipping hub at Louisville International Airport.
“As a result, some shipments may experience unavoidable delays,” the alert says. If you’re waiting on a UPS shipment, you can track those packages here.
UPS says its service guarantee does not apply when transportation networks are disrupted by conditions beyond the company’s control.
The severe weather being referenced here is the four or so inches of snow that fell overnight and this morning in Louisville. Forecasters expect it to wind down by this afternoon, but another storm is queued up for Friday.
